Opening in a whirl of excitment in September 2008, Cabot Circus is a new development and an extension of the Broadmead shopping centre, currently housing the Mall, Broadmead.

The new shopping centre has beaten an international short list to win the Best Shopping Centre of the Year 2008.

The flag ship House of Fraser is the largest in the South West and the very exciting Harvey Nichols, firmly puts Bristol on the map.

With a large cinema de lux, Carluccio's and the Brasserie Blanc, entertainment for the whole family can be found into the early hours.

The Mall, Cribbs Causeway

WIth a large John Lewis at one end and Marks and Spencer and free parking, the Mall draws shoppers from as far as Devon and South Wales.

Main stream high street stores can be found here, as well as a food hall for when it all gets too much.

In the surrounding area, the Mall retail parks, with TK Maxx and the other usual suspects, such as Currys and Morrison can be found.

Clifton Village


Clifton Village features an eclectic mix of boutiques, restaurants and bars. Very popular for Christmas shopping and lazy Sundays.

A fantastic Chandos Deli with a fish counter in the main drag of Princess Victoria Street is well worth a visit, as it the home style shop: Sense with its beautiful home ware, much of it imported from overseas.

The Avon Gorge Hotel, which is undergoing a major refurbishment this year, offers fantastic views of the Gorge and Suspension Bridge on a summers day.
