About the area


These are some of Bristol's more eclectic and interesting areas. The post code here is BS5.

Easton, Eastville and Greenbank are renowned for the great choice of foodie haunts. St Marks Road, which is just around the corner boasts the award winning Cafe Matraiya and the fabulous Thali Cafe as well as the famous Sweet Mart with its superb new deli.

The area is also well known for its many street parties, including St Marks Road stret party usually held in August which is a riot of colour and comminity involvement. All reflecting the real community spirit that you'll find living here.

There is also a thriving arts community, based in Mivart Studios and an annual arts trail that includes many talented local artists.

The cycle path runs through Greenbank, which is in easy reach and nearby Eastville Park has a peaceful lake and plenty of lush open green space, as well playing host to assorted community events in the summer.
