The Cultural Quarter is home to the Town's theatre - the Parr Hall, which hosts approx 200 live events throughout the year. The adjacent Pyramid Centre is Warrington's recently refurbished and extended centre for the arts -combining a mix of old and new architectural styles. The Pyramid Centre, hosts a variety of dance,drama and music activities throughout the year. Not to be missed are the series of 'Walking Days' throughout June/July - the town and nearby villages each celebrate this age old tradition dating back to 1834 by parading through the streets to show their faith - it's a real carnival atmosphere with other activities, fairs etc taking place throughout the area during the 'Walking Day' period. Other activities include Beer Festivals, regular town centre attractions including European Markets etc.
